What is the purpose of NCD Canada’s training?
The purpose of our NCD training is to assist local church leaders to understand and implement NCD principles and processes
effectively using the most up-to-date international material.
Who are seminars for?
Seminars are designed for:
- local church leaders;
- denominational leaders, coaches and consultants; and
- independent coaches whose services are sought out by church leaders.
What is our approach to training?
Training is centered on:
- local church leaders, and those assisting them, working with the recent NCD Survey results from their own church;
- using leading edge NCD tools such as the 2nd Generation Cycle, Profile Plus and the NCD Colour Profile;
- what is essential for local church leaders to know about NCD; and
- insights into the latest developments in NCD.
How often is training offered?
Training is conducted on an as-needed basis.
NCD Canada will schedule training in a particular location if there is the demand for it. Most often it is hosted by denominations or
movements using NCD as part of their strategy for growth. They are often open to others attending, if there are places available.
Dates, location and the type of training will be posted on this website.
How long is the training?
It is scheduled for one or two days, depending on what is needed.
Do others offer NCD training?
Yes. Some denominations offer training. We work with denominations to develop such training. Given the constant developments in NCD
internationally, it is important that you check to ensure the training is up-to-date. Ask for an outline of the training content,
what NCD tools will be used, and the experience of the person doing the training. If you have any questions, please contact us at NCD Canada.
